- Import & Export Compliance and internal controls reporting in line with the BOSCH Customs central directive 03400
- Coordinate import & export functions and support the acquittal process for exports using the SARS stats analysis securing acquittal documents reconciliation and collaborate with different internal business units
- Service invoice verification:
> Receiving invoices
> Ensure all supporting documents are available
> Verify service invoices for accuracy ensuring they align with relevant contractual rate cards
> Internal archiving on the departments drive storage drive
Costs tracking identify and analyse potential savings opportunities in the South Africa FT operation - Coordinate and update the invoice Handling Procedure SOP & maintenance as per CD022500
- Ensure LT maintenance of for invoice processing as per the LSP invoice flow process including dispute resolution
- Enforce accuracy in billing by service providers by tracking and reporting all inaccurate billings
- KPI tracking: Document error rate per LSP; processing time to support the LSP management process
- Support with the quarterly Internal Controls Check (ICS)
- Support with the Annual Broker LSP Audits
- Rate cards management. Ensure department updated with rate cards & changes in contracts affecting the departments operations
- KPI tracking (clearance LT Delivery LT LSP performance Cost analysis)
- Total costs (transport VAT Duty Broker) processed
- Savings reporting and costs avoidance
- Analyse foreign trade data and generate reports using Power BI to support decisionmaking and performance tracking (FTOD ICS Savings & KPIs)
- Reporting and analysis to customers
- Proxy for clearance instruction processing
Qualifications :
Education:
- Minimum Matric
- Degree/ Diploma in Customs Logistics & Supply Chain Purchasing or similar
Experience:
- 35 years practical experience in supply chain customs & foreign trade
- Profound knowledge of logistics and foreign trade
- Understanding of South African customs and foreign trade rules and regulations
- Experience with dealing with customs authorities (preferred)
- Understanding of BOSCH business models (e.g. crossdivisional and multidepartmental)
- IT Experience (e.g. SAP or MS Excel)
- Automotive / FMCG experience would be advantageous
