Job Description
- Estimating costs: Provide cost estimates for materials labor and equipment during the design phase
- Preparing documents: Prepare tender documents and contracts including bills of quantities
- Monitoring costs: Monitor costs during construction to ensure the project stays on budget
- Managing budgets: Manage budgets and oversee payments
- Liaising with stakeholders: Work with project managers architects engineers and contractors to ensure the project meets quality standards
- Resolving disputes: Assist in resolving disputes between parties involved in the project
- Advising on maintenance: Advise on the maintenance costs of specific buildings
- Ensuring compliance: Ensure projects meet legal and quality standards and follow building regulations and health and safety
