Job Description
Busy Dermatology office seeks team member for fulltime Medical Assistant position. The Medical Assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice physician in providing high quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.
Duties:
- Room patients triage obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR
- Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication organizational and computer skills required
- Must be a team player dedicated to patient care
Job Type:
- Fulltime
- Work Schedule: MondayThursday 7:30 am5pm and occasional Fridays
Experience:
- 1 year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (required)
- Dermatology experience (preferred)
- EMR experience (required)
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assisting Certification (preferred)
Pay:
- Pay starts at $22.00 per hour and increases based on experience
