Job Description
UCHealth Parkview Medical Center is looking for a Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon to fill their need!
Dates of Coverage: ASAP until March 2026! Approx. 710 days per month ongoing!
Schedule:
- Hospital: MF
- Clinic: Tues & Thurs possible night call
Caseload:
- Practice Percentage: Adult 100%; Trauma 10%; Office/Clinic 25%; Hospital 75%
- Average No. of office/clinic patients per physician per day: 10; Scheduled 10; Addons 1
- Average No. of hospital patients per physician day: 510; Admissions: 12; ICU: 2; Surgeries: 15
- 4 Exam Rooms
- Lab & Xray onsite: No
- Office ancillary staff: 1 lpn 1 scheduler 1 APP in clinic
- Documentation: EPIC (Office/Clinic & Hospital)
- General CV/thoracic surgery* open
- Coronary artery bypass surgery on pump
- Valvular repair & replacement
- Congential defects (ASD VSD PFO etc.)
- Aneurysm repair cardiac & aortothoracic
Travel Requirements:
- Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start.
- Flights Up to BR50 RT cap
- Lodging Reimbursed by Receipt up to BR50 total per night cap.
- Car rental Reimbursed by Receipt up to an economy car cap.
- Mileage IRS Standard Rate.
Requirement description :
- Board Certified (Thoracic) REQUIRED
- CO License REQUIRED
- BLS ACLS REQUIRED
- Flu Vaccine REQUIRED
- Must be able to provide 710 days of coverage per month REQUIRED (Note at time of name clear)
