Job Description

The Cluster lead of ValueAdded Services (VAS) is a key role within our organization will be accountable for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of ValueAdded Products and Services (VAS) across the cluster to support Visas aggressive growth targets.  The Cluster Lead of VAS is a dynamic role requiring strategic thinking collaboration and a keen focus on driving deployment and growth of VAS within the cluster.

Responsibilities include:

Their responsibilities also include overseeing and reporting on the deployment and sales of VAS across all elements in the cluster excluding advisory. They will ensure that a growing percentage of clients utilizes a range of our VAS capabilities and will collaborate with all deployment channels to ensure a clear execution plan of VAS deployment to tiered clients. They will oversee all client commercial deals and prospective deals to ensure clear deployment of VAS is incorporated into the structure and executed. They will also leverage the standalone VAS deal approach to support deployment and growth.

Lead the sales team to achieve results

  • Partner with Regional VAS Issuing & Acceptance Sales leads to optimize the deployment of specialized sellers within the cluster and manage their performance.

  • Ensure high performance team cohesiveness and individual seller development for cluster sales personnel.

  • Deploy resources for optimal revenue and/or sales growth across the wide set of opportunities

  • Leverage Sales Engineers from multiple organizations to ensure all Sales engagements are supported by deep Product knowledge as needed

  • Establish consistent effective processes that incorporate the use of proven sales methodologies

  • Build teams product knowledge across all related Product domains so they can demonstrate product/service capabilities to customers at 200300 level of technical depth

  • Align client goals and timelines executive engagement and the effective delivery of value propositions

  • Inspect progress and adjust activities as needed to achieve results

  • Drive implementation of sales initiatives report sales activity levels close monitoring of forecast and pipeline

  • Ensure roll out and adoption of sales best practices

Work with crossfunctional partners to ensure we have what we need to be successful with our clients

  • Partner with Regional VAS Issuing & Acceptance Solutions leads to establish GTM and product market fit for all VAS products and offerings.

  • Manage close working partnerships with Visa stakeholders in each market/region Group Country Managers Client Relationship Managers Heads of Product Risk Corporate Relations Legal Interchange etc.

  • Collaborate closely with regional leadership and global Product to ensure the regions product requirements are clearly understood and delivered

  • Partner closely with regional and global Sales support functions including GotoMarket Sales Enablement and Sales Operations to adhere to best practices in making Visa Products easy to buy and easy to sell

  • Partner with local Sales Engineering teams to inform detailed development and delivery of customercentric Seller solutions

  • Work with local and global Product teams to improve the gotomarket strategy define the right value proposition and construct to meet client needs

  • Work with regional GTM and Global Sales Enablement and Marketing to ensure our client facing materials are fitforpurpose and help accelerate the learning and sales process

  • Work with Legal to ensure client contracts drive to successful outcomes for both Visa and our clients

  • Work with Client Delivery and Client Services to handoff the sale to implementation and ensure wellrun projects

  • Facilitate the capture and communication of client feedback on product and valueadded services to inform product evolution.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD) or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD or MD) PhD with 9 years of experience
  • You have 12 15 years business experience with related sales and client management experience.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management with proven ability to interact with C level executives within client organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships.
  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements and aptitude to develop new business partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
