Job Description

We are looking for an experienced handson and visionary Events Lead to drive our global event marketing strategy encompassing both companyhosted and thirdparty sponsored events. This role will lead key initiatives including thought leadership events hosted dinners and industry sponsorships aimed at engaging key audiences such as prospects customers and suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our events into a powerful engine for revenue growth pipeline acceleration and brand visibility.

This position calls for an Events Lead with a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences that embody the companys values and brand and leave a meaningful impact on our audiences. The ideal candidate will combine highlevel strategic thinking with handson execution skills reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

Event Strategy and Planning:

  • Manage the global events strategy which is aligned with the companys demand generation and revenue goals.
  • Create an integrated event calendar that balances inperson and virtual events to maximize reach and impact.
  • Define success metrics including MQLs pipeline contribution and event ROI.

Event Management and Execution:

  • Lead the planning promotion and execution of all events including companyhosted events industry sponsorships and annual sales kickoff.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics such as site selection vendor management agenda development speaker coordination and onsite/virtual production.
  • Deliver highquality experiences that surprise delight and engage attendees ensuring alignment with brand standards and audience needs.
  • Provide backup support and management of virtual events ensuring alignment between inperson and virtual events.
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to innovate event planning attendee engagement and content creation scaling efforts to maximize efficiency and impact.

Collaboration and Enablement:

  • Partner with Product Marketing Content Regulatory SMEs and Sales teams to craft compelling event messaging and promotional strategies.
  • Develop and share pre and postevent playbooks with Sales teams ensuring they have the tools to drive registration and followup.

Performance Measurement and Optimization:

  • Regularly analyze event performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Continuously refine strategies and processes to maximize pipeline generation and audience engagement.

Qualifications :

We are looking for an Events Lead who is a strategic thinker capable of aligning event programs with broader marketing and business goals ensuring that each initiative drives measurable impact. We strongly value your talent energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you possesses the following skills/experiences:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Event Management or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in event marketing including virtual and inperson events preferably in B2B SaaS or technology.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling event programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Highly analytical with a commitment to datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Expertise in tools such as Salesforce Pardot (or equivalent) Goldcast or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience managing program budget and driving efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to travel (up to 40%) for event execution.
