The registered nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of their assigned patients. They are also responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The position requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills frequent interactive and consultative associations along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve communicate or otherwise present information in a written auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written telephone and manual dexterity skills are required for the position.

Registered Nurse required 23 year of PICC acute care experience required
Bachelors Degree preferred PICC Certification

Undergraduate degree in HIM/HIT preferred (Associate's or Bachelor's). Active RHIA, RHIT, and/or (mandatory). Extensive experience auditing MS-DRG inpatient coding: 3+ years of hands-on MS-DRG auditing in a hospital setting. 10+ years of total medical coding experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise across all body systems (not limited to one specialty, such as Orthopedics). Ability to pass a coding test: 20 multiple-choice/true-false and 5-7 behavioral questions (90 minutes). Reside in an eligible state (not available for California, Alaska, New York, or Colorado candidates).
