GTN Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Designer to lead and contribute to residential and site development projects. This role requires advanced expertise in Civil 3D software and strong leadership skills to guide project teams ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor junior designers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of delivering highquality technical solutions while providing team leadership.

ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Designer to lead and contribute to residential and site development projects. This role requires advanced expertise in Civil 3D software and strong leadership skills to guide project teams ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor junior designers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of delivering highquality technical solutions while providing team leadership.
- Lead the design and development of models plans and detailed drawings for residential and site development projects using Civil 3D.
- Oversee and analyze site drainage grading and infrastructure needs for moderately complex projects providing technical guidance to the team.
- Prepare and review comprehensive construction plan sets for agency permitting and approval processes.
- Generate topographical profiles from existing survey data and construct precise surfaces for earthwork calculations and volume comparisons.
- Perform and verify quantity takeoffs from conceptual and finalized construction plans.
- Serve as a mentor to junior designers providing training and ensuring adherence to CAD standards and advanced Civil 3D functionality.
- Communicate effectively with project teams stakeholders and clients to manage progress and address technical challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and professional team environment while upholding ethical business practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Certification in CAD software with advanced expertise in Civil 3D.
- Proven experience in residential or commercial land development design.
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and strong understanding of CAD standards.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including mentoring junior staff and coordinating team efforts.
- Detailoriented with exceptional problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
HIGHLY DESIRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
- Experience in Civil Engineering consulting
