Job Description

  • Support English trainer and teacher(s) in/out of class by helping in matters such as class management giving extra help to students providing extra support for teachers during class activities etc. 
  • Closely monitor the students class attendance and learning progress and any class incidents and report to direct managers. 
  • Check students homework (answer keys provided) and track the submission rate. 
  • Contact students as needed or as requested by teachers/managers to discuss their learning and behaviour or other matters that require special attention. 
  • Answer queries from students if relevant to your assigned tasks in the best interest of both students and the company. 
  • Organize progress tests studentteacher meetings and attend meetings events as requested 
  • Other related tasks assigned by the English trainer. 

Qualifications :

  • Experienced in teaching English and working with adult learners or working as an English teacher. 
  • Bachelor/associate degree in English preferred in pedagogy. 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Patient enthusiastic; able to work independently and in a team. 
  • Bonus points to candidates who hold a English language certificate such as TESOL and CELTA
