Global Market Access Intern

Primary Function of Position

The Global Access Value and Economics (GAVE) organization at Intuitive is seeking a highly motivated hardworking and professional market access intern to join our team for Summer 2025. The Global Market Access Intern will support GAVEs mission of proactively managing the economic health of global marketplaces through identifying and addressing market access barriers. The intern will work within the Global Access and Evidence Management Center of Excellence and be responsible for providing support in the development of key value communication materials and participating in value creation initiatives across existing and emerging technologies. The intern will perform market research and analytics related to HTA and health policy activity. The intern will work with the team to identify evaluate and summarize various types of evidence to support communication and engagement with various internal and external stakeholders. The intern will gain handson experience and learnings through their participation within a world class market access organization.

Essential Job Duties

• Support the team in planning for and executing strategic plans related to ongoing and emerging HTAs on Intuitive technologies
• Perform market research and analytics on HTA organizations health policy topics and related publications or updates in clinical areas of interest
• Gather organize interpret and summarize various types of evidence to support the development of value communication resources
• Assist in the development and creation of value propositions and messaging based on peerreviewed publications and productspecific offerings
• Present and interpret findings to a broad range of crossfunctional teams
• Develop structure and deliver presentations in such a way that the information can be wellunderstood across departments and levels of expertise.
• Provide research and medical writing support for the development of abstracts or manuscripts where possible
• Support the broader GAVE organization with other primary and secondary research and analyses as requested

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience

• Selfmotivated teamfocused person with proven interest in market access and the medical technology industry
• Experience in medical writing literature reviews and evidence assessments
• Fluency in Microsoft Office software including Word Excel PowerPoint
• Experience working in a collaborative project team/environment
• Excellent communication skills with proven command of oral and written English and the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with proven business acumen and analytic skills

University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements

• University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degreeseeking academic program in the Fall.
• Internship Work Period: Must be available to work fulltime (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 1012 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.

Required Education and Training

• Current enrollment in a graduate degree seeking program (Ph.D. PharmD MBA MA MS MPH) in health economics health services research epidemiology statistics biostatistics pharmacy health outcomes research public health or other market access related program at the Doctorate level. Masters level students will also be considered based on specific relevant experience.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including relevant skills and experience for this internship degreeseeking academic program (PhD Masters Bachelors etc) year in school and location. The hourly rate is prorated against the intern program salaries listed and total program compensation will be based on internship duration.
