GLG Vets is proud to be working with a renowned veterinary practice in Hendon Greater London to help find an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. Location: Hendon Greater London
Job Type: Permanent FullTime
Shift Pattern: 7 Nights On 14 Nights Off (Monday Sunday) 7:00 PM 9:00 AM (including weekends)
Salary: 80000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care and treatment to pets throughout the night ensuring their health and wellbeing.
- Conduct consultations diagnostics and treatments for various medical and surgical cases.
- Manage hospitalised patients overnight and oversee their treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the daytime team to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Support and mentor junior veterinary staff and nurses.
Key Requirements:
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experience in emergency and critical care (ECC) or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to support and mentor other staff members.
