You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a member of Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC) team the Associate Network Analyst will perform shift work to detect mitigate or
notify and escalate network issues. They have the primary responsibility for managing and responding to Network Hardware and external
client and circuit events which may result in impaired connectivity to our clients and internal business. The position requires a basic
understanding of how logical and physical connectivity issues can affect transaction quality of Visa Clients. You will be able to explore many
latest technologies that support the Visa Operations such as SDWAN Cloud and various Payment products/services.
Essential Functions:
Please note that this position requires working in alternating shifts 2 days a week / 5 days a week from 08:30 to 18:30 Polish time.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Sound understanding and working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP EIGRP ISIS and OSPF.
Good working knowledge on Cisco 65xx/72xx/76xx Nexus 5k/7k & FEX Arista switches F5 LTM & GTM Juniper.
Good Knowledge of SolarWinds Netcool or other fault monitoring toolsets
Good Knowledge of ServiceNow or other incident and change management tools.
Broad knowledge and background on TCP/IP MPLS WAN LAN SDWAN and Cloud technologies.
Good Knowledge of datacenters and wideareanetwork routing/switching tunneling security operations/Network Design or engineering
MPLS and Ethernet carrier transports
Ability to interpret firewall logs and look for specific permission or denial of a source IPs to a specific destination in support of troubleshooting.
Experience on Packet analyzer Network discovery Tools like Thousand Eyes Netbrain Wireshark.
Global Operations Onsite Flex working model
Previous experience in Network Operations.
Excellent verbal/written communication organizational skills ability to prioritize a constantly changing workload. Interpersonal skills and ability
to excel as part of a team.
MS Office suite proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience
Preferred: ITIL certification
Good common sense and analytical mindset good time management and attention to details when documenting incident handling progress.
Basic understanding of routers/switches/firewalls/load balancers/cloud technology.
Basic knowledge of Cisco and Juniper Networks devices with handson experience of logging in to those devices.
Basic knowledge of ServiceNow or other incident and change management system.
Excellent verbal/written communication organisational skills ability to prioritise a constantly changing workload.
Preferred: Cisco CCNA Juniper JNCIA AWS ITIL certification.
Desirable: Any experience of network automation especially Python / Ansible based.
Desirable: Previous experience in Network Operations
