Job Description
Join our team as a Housekeeping Attendant in Mackay. Were looking for a detailoriented and customerfocused individual to ensure our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. As a key member of our housekeeping team youll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms bathrooms and public areas to our high standards
- Replenish guest amenities linens and supplies as needed
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in deep cleaning and special projects as required
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and hotel operations
Qualifications :
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand walk and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to anticipate and focus on guest needs
- Warm friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic English language proficiency for communicating with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques a plus
