Job Description

About the Role

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving quality systems ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high product standards. This role involves leading quality initiatives conducting audits managing a team and collaborating with crossfunctional departments to enhance manufacturing processes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations certifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Quality Manual and internal quality procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and recommend improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives including preventive actions root cause analysis and corrective measures.
  • Manage and develop the Quality team setting goals and evaluating performance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Implement and refine inspection methods improve tool performance and enhance overall product quality.
  • Ensure all materials meet specifications quality standards and costefficiency goals.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field with at least five years of experience in quality management (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO compliance standards (ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor training preferred).
  • Experience with statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook Access).
  • Familiarity with MRP systems with SAP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems such as Kanban SMI and Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze and negotiate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with metrology equipment calibration and quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production quality control.
  • Proven ability to lead train and mentor teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Background in customer service and supplier quality management.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines in a fastpaced setting.
