Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Import Manager / International Purchase Manager with expertise in solar product procurement particularly solar plates from China. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import regulations supplier negotiations and international trade along with experience in sales within the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage international procurement of solar plates and related equipment ensuring costeffective and timely imports.
- Identify and build strong relationships with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers for quality sourcing.
- Handle import documentation customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor market trends pricing strategies and supply chain risks to optimize procurement.
- Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to align inventory with business needs.
- Negotiate contracts terms and payment agreements with global suppliers.
- Ensure efficient logistics management to minimize lead time and costs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar trade specifically in procurement and imports.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy products especially solar panels and components.
- Understanding of import/export regulations customs procedures and international trade laws.
- Proficiency in negotiation supplier management and cost optimization.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and coordinate with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
