Job Description
We have a fixed term parttime position available working in our Menswear Department in the Timaru branch.
You will be an enthusiastic and passionate about Menswear and the brands we sell. You will enjoy interacting with our customers having the confidence to provide that oneonone service to advise on the latest trends or show off your product knowledge. Being passionate motivated and committed to achieving high standards at all times.
You will be adaptable you will use your initiative to keep on top of tasks ensuring your area is kept wellpresented and stocked.
Attending product training sessions to expand your knowledge is key for success.
Having a good teamwork ethic along with the flexibility to work across the Contemporary Lounge Department is essential to assist the wider team when required. You will be working with an established team that embrace the positive culture that Ballantynes offers.
This role will cease early november 2025.
Successful Candidate
To be successful you will have the following attributes:
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Genuine interest in fashion and a love for brands.
- Helpful and willing to go above and beyond to assist our customers.
- Passionate about working with quality merchandise.
- An enthusiastic engaging and warm nature.
- Great teamwork skills.
Additional Information :
The position that we have available is fixed term parttime: Friday 9:00am5:30pm and Saturday 10:00am4:00pm. This position will cease in early November 2025.
