Role: Power BI Developer

Location: Austin TX (Remote within TX)

Duration: 6 months contract with possibility to extension

We are seeking 2 a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization report/dashboard development and data modeling using Power BI along with handson experience working with Dynamics 365 Power Apps and Power Automate. This role requires a detailoriented professional who can analyze business requirements develop insightful reports and integrate data from multiple sources to support business decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and optimize interactive dashboards reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Extract transform and load (ETL) data from Dynamics 365 Power Platform and other data sources to Power BI.
• Develop Power BI data models DAX calculations and custom measures to support complex reporting needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy security and performance optimization in Power BI reports.
• Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate to create seamless business process automation solutions.
• Work with Dataverse SQL Server and other data repositories to manage and manipulate data effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for Power BI and Power Platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity performance and security in Power BI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 57 years of experience in Power BI development including DAX Power Query and M Language.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate) and Dataverse.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration from various sources.
• Knowledge of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in publishing sharing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards in Power BI Service.
• Ability to write complex DAX expressions and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with security best practices rolebased access and governance in Power BI.
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work with crossfunctional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory and Power BI Embedded.
• Microsoft Power BI and/or Power Platform certifications.
