Job Description

Position: Data Collection Staff
Location: Indianapolis IN 46204
Client: State of Indiana
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Collection Staff member to assist in statutory responsibilities related to offender registration. The role involves researching and collecting critical court documents and entering data into a tracking system to support state registration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and collect court documents and sentencing information.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents related to criminal history.
  • Communicate effectively with law enforcement agencies at various levels.
  • Enter data accurately into designated tracking systems.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with department and external agency staff.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in data collection and data entry.
  • Familiarity with Indiana Code and criminal justice systems.
  • Proficient in legal research tools (e.g. Lexis Nexis Westlaw).
  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
