Supermarket Floor Manager Dublin 16
Blue Forge Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading retail supermarket chain expanding across Ireland. Known for its strong community presence and excellent career progression this retailer supports management development through training and education.
We are seeking an experienced grocery retail manager who has a particular understanding of shop floor operations running PA cycle staff management maintaining availability in ambient foods driving sales and merchandising the shop floor.
The salary will vary DOE 35000 a year salary including staff discount and other perks.
Responsibilities for this Floor Manager Job:
- Support manager to achieve sales and profit targets
- Provide high level of customer service
- Ensure you and the team abide by all company policies and procedures
- Manage stock and cash control procedures investigate and report when variances occur
- Being creative and innovative by studying and implementing advertising sales promotion and display plans.
- Managing all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
- Maintaining store staff by recruiting selecting and training new staff in conjunction with the HR department.
- Organizing special promotions displays and events.
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints as per the company policies.
Requirements for this Floor Manager Job:
- 1 years of retail management experience ideally within an environment with fresh foods.
- Some experience using Retail IT systems to understand stock and sales trends
- People skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- The ability to work in highpressure situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Selfmotivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence.
- A strong work ethic.
