Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off Days & Nights

Location: Suffolk

Salary: 46000

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment across the site. Key duties include routine inspections troubleshooting fault diagnosis and performing repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical machinery and infrastructure.

The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems health and safety regulations and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance checks on electrical equipment and systems

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Support project work and system upgrades as required

Provide technical support to operations teams

Requirements:

Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds NVQ)

Previous experience in electrical maintenance

Ability to work on a 4 on / 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern

Strong problemsolving and communication skills
