Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Forklift Operator Lv1
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 months
Location: Memphis TN 38108
Shift: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM CST (Some weekends included)
General Information
Job Description:
- Driving a forklift and lifting weighing stacking and moving 50 lb bags of product for about 75% of the shift (moved by forklift or hand dolly).
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
- Work safely and efficiently per company rules and regulations.
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment (batching mixers pellet mills grinders grain cleaners).
- Receive ingredients by truck and rail monitor inventory levels.
- Manufacture products to meet specifications and HACCP requirements.
- Perform physical tasks: standing walking climbing bending kneeling crawling reaching handling pushing pulling and working in small spaces.
- Driving may be required for certain tasks.
- Safe forklift operation is required.
Requirements:
- Must complete background check and drug test
