Production Test Technician night shift

We are looking for a detailoriented and analytical Production Technician to join our team in Kirkland Canada. In this role you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on electronic products and components to ensure they meet our highquality standards before being shipped to customers.

(If selected for this role there is a $3 shift differential CAD)

• Perform electrical and functional tests on various electronic products and components.
• Troubleshoot and effectively resolve technical issues in order to maintain production flow.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment as required
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes
• Prepare detailed reports on test results and quality measures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Works using key cards written procedures and other verbal written instructions detailing product performance criteria. 
• Ability to work with highly sensitive and delicate optical and electrical test equipment to ensure all our products are tested/sorted and within specifications. 
• Performs some mechanical assembly to finalize product after determining performance criteria. 
• Ability to follow documented data collection process and store appropriate data as needed. 

Qualifications :

• High school degree required.
• Graduated from electronics school highly desirable. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production testing. 
• Proficiency in the use of electronic test equipment and the interpretation of results.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Knowledge of electronic components and systems
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet production schedules.
• Must be able to communicate in English and French (spoken and written).
• Must be comfortable doing repetitive work and work overtime as needed.
