Business Analyst (Public Safety) Hybrid in Toronto ON
Notes:
- 10 years of experience in business analysis.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into technology requirements.
- Experience working on largescale missioncritical IT projects.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in information architecture interoperability API/interface design data modeling and data warehousing.
- Handson experience with database development methodologies programming languages and data storage techniques.
- Expertise in datarelated projects such as Data Analytics ETL Data Visualization and Business Intelligence.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing dashboard projects.
- Familiarity with ComputerAided Dispatch (CAD) applications.
- Experience working in a public safety environment (ambulance fire or police).
- Business Analysis Skills
- 10 years of experience in business analysis.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into technology requirements.
- Experience working on largescale missioncritical IT projects.
- Proficiency in creating detailed business requirement documentation use cases workflows and IT process flows.
- Strong skills in data requirement gathering and report specification writing.
- Data Integration & Analytics
- Knowledge of information engineering and data management methodologies.
- Familiarity with government and ministry directives policies and data governance standards.
- Deep understanding of database concepts data types and dictionaries.
- Analytical & Communication Skills
- Ability to bring clarity to complex business challenges.
- Strong problemsolving skills to translate business issues into actionable technology solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Public Safety & Telecommunications Experience
- Handson experience with telephony and radio technologies (IPbased telephony Avaya P25).
- Experience implementing and integrating Medical Triage Algorithms (MPDS).
