Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Brooklyn NY (Onsite)

HRUCKUS is a Veteranowned consulting firm based in Washington DC specializing in strategic sourcing supply chain management and IT staffing. We are currently seeking experienced System Administrators to support the State of New Yorks Department of Social Services (DSS) in critical IT initiatives.

Job Summary

The State of New Yorks DSS is expanding its IT capabilities to support missioncritical systems including client eligibility recertification employment/work engagement services and claims management. The System Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the performance security and scalability of these systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking security and VoIP technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure manage and maintain core networking infrastructure including routing firewall management and wireless systems.

  • Implement and support Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions for proactive security monitoring.

  • Manage and troubleshoot Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to ensure network security compliance.

  • Deploy maintain and support VoIP solutions in largescale environments.

  • Perform system testing using automated and custom tools to assess network and security infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to refine and optimize system performance.

  • Maintain and document system configurations network topologies and security protocols.

Required Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in networking including routing firewall management and wireless systems.

  • 4 years of experience working with SIEM solutions and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).

  • 4 years of experience in VoIP technologies with a proven track record of deployment in largescale environments.

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and result analysis using automated and custom tools.

  • Ability to assess network and security infrastructure effectively.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
