Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage territory planning to ensure balanced engagement with architects designers and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architecture and design firms contractors and facility end users.
- Act as a product expert providing technical assistance and product recommendations to clients.
- Conduct AIA CEU lunch presentations and maintain efficient sales data systems.
- Identify and analyze regional competition to maximize company profitability.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent field experience
- 5 years of sales experience in a businesstobusiness environment
- Extensive experience in construction sales; window covering sales highly preferred
- Proven track record of sales growth and business development
- Strong problemsolving communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and databases
- Ability to travel extensively (50% overnight travel required)
- Must reside within the assigned region or be willing to relocate
