Job Description

Job Title:
Power Builder Developer
Location:
Lansing MI
Duration:
1 year with extension possible
Pay Rate:
$60/hr on C2C / 1099 OR $55/hr on W2
Interview Process:
Inperson. Candidates must be available for an inperson interview.
Note:
Remote or Onsite: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or nonlocal (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule).
Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule which is onsite 2 days a week (Wednesdays are mandatory to be onsite. The other onsite day can be flexible.). NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
Job Description
Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in TSQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management source control (TFS/Azure DevOps GIT) unit testing documentation testing production support change management software development and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Some college preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or related IT discipline
  • PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
  • Work in a hybrid office
  • Willingness to learn

Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.

Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.

Must have experience creating updating and maintaining documentation for programs system specs and flow diagrams.

Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.

Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
