Title: Epic Application Analyst (W2)
Location: Rockledge FL (This is a hybrid role with coming onsite once a month in Rockledge FL)
Duration: 6 Months
BR: $75/hr on C2C

Summary:
The Epic Analyst is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the Epic EHR (electronic health records) systems within the organization. To do this the Analyst works closely with healthcare providers IT staff and other business stakeholders by providing a customer centric experience. Also acting as a communication hub this position coordinates the information technology activities for their assigned areas based on user requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Epic Application Analyst will understand user workflows core functions and processes of the supported business area which may include inpatient ancillary ambulatory or revenue cycle
* Coordinate with clinical end users and apply knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements
* Designs configures tests troubleshoots and maintains programs/applications
* Apply detailed knowledge of system functionality to implement new applications and modules
* Document business requirements current and future state workflows and any custom builds as appropriate
* Coordinate and participate in all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades
* Research and resolve issues with external and internal resources as needed * As an Epic Application Analyst you will provide support during golive events including during standard offhours support times
* Lead small and mediumsized projects with minimal managerial oversight; Develop key project management tools including project plans issues logs testing plans and golive events
* Responsible for ongoing oncall duties for incidents outside of business hours
* Participate in crosstraining for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications
Primary Skills
* Associate degree; Bachelor s degree in a relevant field preferred * Certification: Epic certified upon hire or within six months of hire * Two years in healthcare or one year of experience supporting technology systems * Work experience in lieu of degree: Four years in healthcare or supporting technology systems * Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint * Strong critical thinking skills * Strong communication skills and professional presence * Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision * Ability to maintain composure in stressful office environment * Experience in healthcare specifically areas in inpatient ancillary ambulatory or revenue cycle preferred
