Job Description
Job Title: MDM functional Consultant
Location: Minneapolis MN
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MDM Functional Consultant to assist with the implementation and optimization of Master Data Management solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements design data models and ensure the integration of master data across various systems. The role requires a deep understanding of MDM processes and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless data management across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business users and stakeholders to understand their master data requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
- Implement MDM solutions ensuring effective data governance data quality and integration with existing enterprise systems.
- Analyze business processes and develop MDM workflows ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Define and document data management processes and guidelines including data standards policies and procedures.
- Configure MDM tools (such as Informatica SAP Oracle etc.) according to project requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that MDM solutions are integrated with various systems including ERPs CRMs and other data sources.
- Conduct data mapping data validation and data migration activities to ensure highquality master data.
- Provide training and support to endusers and stakeholders on MDM best practices.
- Assist in the creation of reports dashboards and other tools to monitor data health and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of MDM solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an MDM consultant or in a similar role with handson experience in MDM implementation and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of MDM principles methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM SAP MDM Oracle MDM or similar platforms.
- Experience in data governance data quality management and data integration.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage with business and technical teams.
- Experience in working on largescale MDM projects across different industries is a plus.
