Job Description

Technical Support Engineer IT Operations

Job Location: Gurugram India
Report to: Senior Executive IT Ops
Travel: NIL

Job Expectation and Scope
The IT executive role is responsible for managing the daily as well as longterm IT Ops
of d.light India to support business requirements and needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Address user tickets regarding Hardware Software and networking
2. Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
3. Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
4. Guide users with simple stepbystep instructions
5. Conduct remote troubleshooting.

6. Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
7. Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
8. Record technical issues and solutions in logs
9. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
10.Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
11.Report customer feedback and potential product requests
12.Help create technical documentation and manuals
13.Knowledge of JIRA NetSuite Navision Oracle HCM application is plus.
14.Good communication skills
15.Should be good in aptitude and learning skills.

Successful Candidate Profile
1. Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer Technical Support
Engineer or similar role
2. Handson experience with Windows environments
3. Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like
printers and scanners
4. Knowledge of networking and vendor management
5. Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
6. Excellent problemsolving and multitasking skills
7. Customeroriented attitude
8. Graduation Equivalent Qualification in Computers
