Role: Data Governance Analyst Business Enablement
Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Profile Summary: Experienced Data Governance Analyst with expertise in data cataloging metadata management and data quality. Skilled in data governance frameworks implementing data quality rules and using data cataloging tools to enhance business decisionmaking. Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders drive data governance initiatives and support business units in improving data management.
Key Expertise:
Data Governance & Compliance Implementing governance policies ensuring adherence to best practices.
Data Cataloging & Metadata Management Organizing and maintaining data assets glossary definitions and metadata.
Data Quality & Validation Applying data quality rules identifying anomalies and ensuring data integrity.
Data Analysis & Business Enablement Supporting business units in leveraging data assets for strategic initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration Engaging crossfunctional teams for data governance adoption.
Tools & Technologies:
Data Cataloging Tools Alation Collibra Informatica EDC or similar
Metadata Management Knowledge of metadata frameworks and governance models
Data Quality Tools Informatica DQ Talend DQ Ataccama or similar
SQL & Data Analysis Performing queries to analyze and validate data
Responsibilities
Support businesses in specific initiatives to catalogue their data assets (including table column and glossary information across data sources and business intelligence data assets)
Support businesses in specific initiatives to apply data quality to their data assets
Support businesses in the usage of data catalogues and data quality tools to support data governance policies and principles
Requirements
Experience in data governance
Experience with data catalogue tooling / meta data management / knowledge management
Experience with data quality tooling / data quality rules
Proactive mindset making opportunities and delivering value
Capable of independently managing tasks and responsibilities
Able to engage and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders using a variety of communication methods
Perform data analysis to support catalogue and quality uses cases
Understanding of data in general and some of the use cases and situations they are likely to come across.
