About the Job
Were looking for a motivated Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and build up supplier engagement.
In your daytoday work youll focus on ensuring that our suppliers are actively using the API platform and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company a ConTech Startup in Munich that is building a disruptive solution to digitalise a key area of the supply chain process in the construction industry.
In this role youll:
- Drive supplier engagement with key suppliers including Wrth Hilti and BayWa.
- Demonstrate benefits of API integration with VESTIGASs platform to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Own the commercial strategy for supplier integrations ensuring successful onboarding and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to translate supplier needs into scalable API solutions.
- Advocate for automation and streamlined processes ensuring efficiency in supplier interactions.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand VESTIGASs supplier ecosystem identifying and onboarding new strategic partners.
Your Profile
- Strong sales and commercial experience ideally within SaaS supply chain or industrial sectors.
- Foundational technical understanding of software engineering if possible also of API design implementation and maintenance.
- Experience in project management and working crossfunctionally with technical teams.
- Ability to understand and convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- A cando attitude with a focus on speed of implementation necessary to succeed in a startup.
- Strategic mindset with a proven track record of growing partnerships.
- Prior experience in a fastmoving startup or scaleup environment is a plus!
- Native or C2 level German & Fluent English with outstanding verbal and written communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
Please note that we are looking for hybrid support in the MUNICH office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
