Job Description
Xpedite Diagnostics is one of the most innovative companies in the field of DNA/RNA extraction. At our headquarters in Hallbergmoos in the immediate vicinity of Munich Airport we develop and produce innovative extraction technologies that not only help to accelerate and simplify diagnostic workflows but also open up the possibility of carrying out molecular tests in small laboratories and even directly in doctors offices. Xpedite Diagnostics is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and is a registered IVD manufacturer.
Our constantly growing team currently consists of 10 highly motivated employees of different nationalities and with exciting personalities. We combine our strengths and support each other with the aim of establishing Xpedite Diagnostics as an internationally known provider of DNA/RNA extraction solutions. We are all committed to this with a good portion of hard work selfmotivation creativity and assertiveness.
Our R&D team is looking for support by a smart and efficient Scientist/ Senior Scientist in several exciting development projects.
Tasks
- Molecular biological lab work (extraction amplification detection of DNA/RNA from various specimens)
- Basic microbiological lab work (grow BSL2 bacteria maintain stocks)
- Biochemical lab work (enzyme assays bioanalytical experiments)
- Managing development projects
- Managing a small team of laboratory staff
Requirements
- Excellent background in Molecular Biology: it doesnt matter to us which education path you chose but it matters that you are well equipped to understand our technologies
- At least 3 years experience in molecular biological laboratory work
- Detailoriented work attitude valuing accuracy and precision: your work is instrumental for developing new products and application protocols this is how you contribute to the companys success
- Selfmotivated and eager to learn new skills
- Team spirit and openmindedness: everyone is different and brings another value to the team
- Very good English in speaking and writing: we are an international team and our customers are located all over the globe
- Handson mindset: you will need to make decisions and you will find the space to grow personally this is the essence of every good startup company
