Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Lead to drive the D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation for a chemicals manufacturing company operating in the U.S. and Mexico. This role requires extensive experience in fullcycle D365 Finance implementations and strong business process expertise across finance accounting procurement and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the functional workstream for D365 Finance & Operations implementation ensuring seamless system configuration and process alignment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements map processes and drive system adoption.
Configure D365 Finance modules to support financial reporting cost accounting tax localization multientity consolidations and GAAP/IFRS compliance.
Oversee data migration testing (UAT) and system validation ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
Facilitate workshops requirement gathering sessions and process documentation to support solution design.
Partner with technical teams on system integrations customizations and workflow automation.
Develop training materials and lead enduser training to ensure adoption and optimal system utilization.
Provide postgolive support and drive continuous improvements in financial processes.
Qualifications:
10 years of experience in ERP implementations including 5 years as a Functional Lead on D365 Finance & Operations projects.
Proven track record of multiple fullcycle D365 Finance implementations.
Expertise in financial modules including GL AP AR Fixed Assets Cost Accounting Tax Localization and MultiEntity Consolidations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS compliance and financial reporting best practices.
Experience in chemicals manufacturing or similar industries including landed cost calculations and inventory valuation is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
Dynamics 365 certifications preferred.
