Job Description
Facility: Providence Newberg Medical Center
Location: 1001 N Providence Dr Newberg OR 97132
Contract: 13week
Shift: Day 3x12Hour (08:30 21:00)
Pay: $64/hr on W2 or $68/hr on 1099 (Local Rate will be discussed)
- Operate MRI machines to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ensure the quality of images produced meets medical standards.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures and providing comfort.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain and clean MRI equipment after each use.
- Document procedures and patient information using the Epic system.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech is required.
- Licensure: Current OR State MRI license is required.
- Certification: Must be certified in MRI technology (ARRT certification preferred).
- Skills: Ability to operate GE MRI machines is required.
- Charting System: Experience with Epic charting is required.
- Weekend Requirements: Yes Saturdays are required as part of scheduled shifts.
- OnCall: No oncall required.
- Floating: Travelers may be expected to float between Providence Health and affiliate hospitals in the region.
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care/Level IV Trauma Center
- Total Beds: 60
- Scrub Color: Any solid color (CNA and MLT: any color business casual attire is acceptable).
- Parking: Free parking available.
- Charting: Epic.
- Local Candidates: Local candidates within a 50mile radius will be accepted at a lower bill rate.
- Travel Expectations: Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the region. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
