Pay: $64/hr on W2 or $68/hr on 1099 (Local Rate will be discussed)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MRI Tech to join our team at Providence Health and Services in Newberg OR. As an MRI Tech you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients ensuring highquality images are produced and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a professional with experience in MRI procedures particularly with GE scanners and the ability to work in a fastpaced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI machines to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.

Ensure the quality of images produced meets medical standards.

Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures and providing comfort.

Maintain patient safety by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis.

Maintain and clean MRI equipment after each use.

Document procedures and patient information using the Epic system.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech is required.

Licensure: Current OR State MRI license is required.

Certification: Must be certified in MRI technology (ARRT certification preferred).

Skills: Ability to operate GE MRI machines is required.

Charting System: Experience with Epic charting is required.

Weekend Requirements: Yes Saturdays are required as part of scheduled shifts.

OnCall: No oncall required.

Floating: Travelers may be expected to float between Providence Health and affiliate hospitals in the region.

Local Candidates: Local candidates within a 50mile radius will be accepted at a lower bill rate.

Travel Expectations: Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the region. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
