Job Description
JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston NC
PAY RATE: $34/hour
MUST BE US PERSONS
We are a national staffing firm partnering with toptier aerospace companies and we are seeking firstclass employees to join our clients teams!

Job Details:

Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Pay & per diem: $110/week for those who qualify
-

Summary:
-
Performs assembly and installation of parts and components per blueprints specifications and work orders.
-
Uses precision measuring instruments and manual/automated tools to complete assignments.
-
Conducts functional testing rework and fabrication as needed.
-
Moves materials documents discrepancies and supports continuous workflow through training and collaboration.
-
Crosstrains in inspection and obtains SIA qualification.
Required Skills:
-
Local candidates strongly preferred
-
Must be able to work any assigned shift including overtime and weekends
-
Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8hour shift
-
Verifies part dimensions using mechanical and electronic measurement tools

Performs various assembly tasks including:
-
Drilling sealing and inserting fasteners
-
Varnishing painting and countersinking
-
Applying sealant and assembling substructures
