• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

• Shift: Weekend day shift

Summary:

• Lead engineering projects involving critical challenges that require major technological advancements and extensive development efforts.

• Manage complex engineering projects within the defined scope.

• Make authoritative technical decisions with a significant impact on engineering activities.

• Apply advanced technical principles theories and specialized knowledge.

• Lead the development of innovative concepts and solutions.

• Identify and implement improved methods to optimize technical products costs and schedules.

• Work independently under consultative direction using expert judgment to achieve objectives.

• Establish standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities.

• Plan and conduct investigations in critical areas where engineering precedents are lacking.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 13 years of experience in a specific technical discipline or 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple disciplines with a bachelors degree.

• Advanced degrees may count toward experience (up to 2 years for a masters and 4 years for a PhD in relevant fields).

• Advanced degrees in engineering or related fields are preferred.
