Job Description
Seeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.
Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in TSQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management source control (TFS/Azure DevOps GIT) unit testing documentation testing production support change management software development and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some college preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or related IT discipline
- PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
- Work in a hybrid office
- Willingness to learn
Required Skills:
- Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.
- Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.
- Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.
- Must have experience in performing data profiling data mapping data manipulation validation and analysis.
- Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.
- Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.
- Must have experience creating updating and maintaining documentation for programs system specs and flow diagrams.
- Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.
- Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
- Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.
