Identify and diagnose hardware and software issues as well as network and connectivity problems and offer timely solutions.
Install and configure computer systems software applications and hardware components ensuring they work correctly.
Create modify and deactivate user accounts and permissions managing access to systems and resources.
Ensure that software and applications are up to date with the latest patches and security updates.
Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware including cleaning upgrading and repairing components.
Assist with network setup troubleshooting connectivity issues and maintaining network infrastructure.
Manage data backups schedule regular backups and support data recovery efforts in case of data loss.
Implement security protocols enforce company security policies and respond to security incidents.
Offer training and guidance to users on software applications and best practices to enhance their technical skills.
Interact with external vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate warranty and service repairs.
Stay informed about relevant IT laws and regulations ensuring the organizations IT practices adhere to legal requirements.
Enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain security compliance and efficient IT operations.
Continuously monitor systems network performance and resource utilization and generate reports for analysis.
Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades migrations and deployments by providing technical support.
A bachelors degree or HND in computer science information technology or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in IT
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Linux macOS) network protocols hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as IT Support personnel frequently interact with endusers. ProblemSolving Abilities: The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions.
Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for documenting issues solutions and maintaining organized records.
