Job Description

Extensive experience sourcing iron & steel castings electrical laminations and other engineering materials in industries such as manufacturing automotive and industrial engineering. Strong knowledge of raw materials particularly steel products and their sourcing requirements. Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and understanding technical specifications for various engineering components. Proven ability to manage complex sourcing operations across multiple locations including large teams and supplier networks in India and internationally. Knowledge of international markets and ability to source materials globally at competitive prices. Experience in sourcing capital equipment machinery and other highvalue assets for engineering companies. Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships to achieve cost reductions and secure favorable terms. Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders. Familiarity with procurement software ERP systems and data analysis tools. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed to visit suppliers and assess sourcing opportunities.
