Job Description
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students needs and progress.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings as well as school and districtwide meetings.
- Document and track student progress making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Provide direct therapy services both oneonone and in groups in accordance with each student s IEP.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language delays and disorders.
- Engage in regular supervision sessions to meet CFY requirements enhance professional development and improve skills.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to ensure student success across academic social and behavioral settings.
Requirements
- ASHA certification (or in progress).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligible for state licensures as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented schoolbased environment.
- Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate or completion of academic requirements to begin CFY.
