Designation : Platform Engineering Lead

Location : Gurgaon Noida Panchkula Hyderabad Bangalore

Experience 8years

POSITION OVERVIEW :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Platform Engineering Lead. This role is centered around identifying current development hurdles pinpointing areas of friction and crafting strategic initiatives aimed at improving the developer experience.


From refining testing practices to addressing skill gaps the goal will be to streamline and enrich development processes. Beyond strategy implementation evaluating the impact of these initiatives communicating results to management teams and fostering a culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and superior developer experience.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS :

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.

Over 8 years of experience in software engineering design and architecture development.

A portfolio that demonstrates a history of software development excellence.

Leadership prowess with a track record of driving change and instilling best practices.

Expertise in software engineering design and architecture reviews.

Deep knowledge of DomainDriven Design Data Engineering Architecture and EventDriven Architecture principles.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies contributing to a culture of iterative and collaborative development.

Stellar communication and interpersonal skills capable of articulating technical concepts and persuading stakeholders at every level.

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

Proficiency in software development languages (e.g. Java Python C).

Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).

Key Responsibilities :

Lead by example in coding setting benchmarks for code quality and efficiency.

Tackle crossfunctional and impactful challenges as identified by the Tech Leadership team.

Champion engineering process enhancements including code reviews testing strategies and deployment pipelines.

Strategize and execute optimizations to refine development workflows and boost productivity.

Promote and embody a culture of excellence and ongoing enhancement among development teams.

Ensure alignment and collaborative success by working closely with crossfunctional teams including Technology Operations and Quality Assurance.

Cultivate relationships across development teams to pursue common objectives and eliminate inefficiencies.

Mentor and support team members elevating their coding standards quality assurance practices and understanding of process optimization.

Foster an environment of learning and growth encouraging continuous development and knowledge exchange among team members.
