The salary for this role is 54376 (inclusive of MPP) (inclusive of a Market Premium Payment (MPP)6000). Onsite working is expected for 3 days each week however we actively support requests for flexible working.
This role is based at the following site; Culham Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role
We are looking for an Electronics Team Leader to join RACE (Remote Applications in Challenging Environments) a leading center for robotics and autonomous systems. As the RACE Electronics Team Leader you will lead a team of skilled electronics engineers in developing innovative electronic systems and products across the RACE portfolio. Combining your technical expertise with strong leadership you will drive projects to successful completion meet deadlines and ensure the highest quality standards. In this role youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and the Electrical Project Group Leader to support the growth and development of the Project Group.

Additional Responsibilities:
Lead a team of skilled electronics engineers to develop innovative electronic systems and products across the RACE portfolio.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and the Electrical Project Group Leader to support the growth and development of the Project Group.
Apply excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to drive projects to completion while maintaining highquality standards.
Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
Ensure the production of highquality work within deadlines contributing to the successful execution of RACEs initiatives.
Qualifications :
Essential Requirements:
Engineering degree HNC/HND or equivalent experience.
Indepth knowledge for electronics design principles analog and digital circuit design and PCB layout.
Proficiency in using electronics design tools and software (e.g. Altium Cadence OrCAD)
Experience of managing small teams of engineers and strong understanding of microcontrollers sensors and embedded systems.
Demonstrated success in delivering complex electronics projects on time and on budget.
Thorough understanding of governance Health and Safety and compliance issues.
