What will you do
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to attract new hostel guests and group bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients ensuring satisfaction and repeat business particularly with backpackers groups and longterm stays.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the hostel and budget accommodation market.
- Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure an excellent customer experience and streamline booking processes.
- Attend industry events travel fairs and networking meetings to promote the hostels offerings and expand its market presence.
- Negotiate contracts with group leaders travel agents and corporate clients while ensuring the balance between guest satisfaction and hostel profitability.
- Assist with groups inquiries followups and maintaining an updated database of quotes and clients.
What do we look for
- At least 2 years of proven experience in sales within the hostel budget accommodation or tourism sector.
- Academic background in business tourism or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working with group bookings international travelers and the specific needs of hostel guests.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to create lasting relationships with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highpressure environment with a resultsdriven mindset.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel Word etc.) and familiarity with hostel booking systems.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Availability to travel for business development and promotional events.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and motivation for personal and professional growth.
