Job Description
Planner Scheduler
Objective:
To schedule elaborate and structure production planning for efficient use of lines and optimal efficient use of the lines and optimal delivery of product to the customer.
Requirements:
- Schooling: Industrial Engineering Bachelor's degree in foreign trade business administration marketing logistics or related.
- Advanced English
- 5 years in the position.
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems such as IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001.
- Basic knowledge of IMMEX and PROSEC.
- Development implementation and followup of KPI indicators.
- Basic knowledge of annex 24 and 31.
Main Functions.
1. Schedule production lines according to sales orders.
2. Plan minimum byproduct requirements according to established reorder points.
3. Plan develop implement and evaluate processes for production line planning.
4. Evaluate volume requirements against planning assumptions.
5. Day to day order management and customer delivery management.
6. Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
7. Take followup actions regarding material shortages that affect production and communicate to customer service area.
8. Implement all processes according to agreed standards and objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

9. Utilize any material requirements planning (MRP) or IT system.

10. Review the completeness of the byproduct bill of materials to ensure correct sourcing.
11. Monitor finished product levels against agreed target levels.
12. Support sudden plan changes in the event of short shipment orders (QuickShips).
13. Minimize obsolete stock and ensure that the company has minimum liability.
14. Create periodic statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization.
15. Assist with ongoing review of reorder points (ROP) on byproducts to improve material stability.
16. Create and maintain a sales and operations planning (S&OP) system to maintain optimized inventory levels.
17. Generate production orders to bring in material in a timely manner according to customer requirements.
