Job Description
Were looking for a Product Manager to lead our Sanction Screening initiatives ensuring Checkout.com stays at the forefront of compliance while delivering seamless experiences for businesses and their customers. Youll develop and enhance our realtime screening capabilities working crossfunctionally to create effective and efficient solutions with compliance engineering analytics and operations teams.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment enjoys solving complex problems and is passionate about building products that directly impact financial security regulatory compliance and user experience. It requires a strong product mindset a deep understanding of financial crime regulations and a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday). Weve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space while also being able to partner with colleagues globally. During your days at the office we offer amazing snacks breakfast and lunch options in all of our locations.
What Youll Be Doing
Own the sanction screening product roadmap ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations while maintaining an efficient customer experience.
Define product requirements by understanding the needs of compliance teams operational workflows and business goals.
Work closely with compliance engineering analytics and operations teams to develop and refine solutions.
Improve and optimize screening capabilities to enhance detection accuracy while reducing unnecessary friction.
Stay ahead of industry changes ensuring our products align with evolving global sanctions frameworks (OFAC EU UK UN etc.).
Drive datainformed decisionmaking leveraging analytics machine learning and rulebased approaches to improve performance.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure bestinclass compliance practices.
Balance risk operational efficiency and customer experience by making thoughtful tradeoffs that align with business objectives always in collaboration with compliance.
Qualifications :
35 years of product management experience ideally in fintech payments compliance or riskrelated domains.
Experience working on financial crime prevention products (e.g. sanction screening transaction monitoring fraud detection or AML solutions).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data identify trends and drive insights.
A collaborative approach with experience working crossfunctionally across product compliance engineering and operations.
A customerfirst mindset ensuring solutions balance compliance efficiency and user experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships.
A passion for learning and staying up to date on regulatory trends and emerging technologies.
