Job Description
Position: Power Electronics Engineer
Location: Houston TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Experience: 925 years
Must Have: Power Electronics with High Temperature
Job Summary:
- Designing and constructing power electronics hardware and software systems suited for specific applications.
- Testing and evaluating power electronic devices for performance safety and reliability under different conditions.
- Experience with basic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes DMM Eload signal generators high temperature chamber)
- Improving existing electronic systems by integrating new technology or refining components to increase the efficiency and durability of the system.
- Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff to resolve system malfunctions or to devise innovations that enhance system performance.
- Conducting detailed calculations to establish manufacturing construction and installation standards and specifications.
- Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety or quality standards.
- Implementing control circuits and software required for highpower systems such as motor drives and uninterruptible power supplies.
- Simulating and modeling power electronics designs before physical execution to ensure stability and functionality.
- Analyzing thermal management systems and deploying cooling mechanisms to maintain the reliability and efficiency of power components.
