The Quality Control Raw Materials (QCRM) team is responsible for ensuring that all materials needed within manufacturing are inspected sampled tested and released in order to meet manufacturing timelines. This team works closely with Materials Management and Planning to meet these commitments. As a coop within this team you can expect to learn how materials are introduced into the facility and how the quality control team ensures that these materials meet all quality standards before being released for use within the facility.
Position Description
As a coop you are responsible for engaging with team members and learning how the quality of raw materials used within manufacturing is ensured. Once trained you will learn how to do performance checks of equipment such as balances and pH meters; you will help perform these checks daily as needed. You will also be trained on basic identification and compendial testing.
