Test Engineer

Test Development Engineers at Renesas play a crucial role in the semiconductor industry working closely with the engineering team to develop and implement innovative test solutions for cuttingedge products. These engineers collaborate with the applications team to shape device datasheets through indepth characterization and product evaluation ensuring that Renesas products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire new production introduction (NPI) process including feasibility studies and design for test (DFT) strategies.
• Lead hardware design and device debugging efforts to ensure robust test solutions.
• Conduct temperature characterization and other critical evaluations to optimize device performance.
• Provide longterm support for offshore production ensuring seamless operations.
• Ensure that all devices meet Renesas highquality standards before shipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency yield and reduce testing costs.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address any testrelated challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree or greater in Electrical/Computer engineering or Computer science.
• Knowledge of Analog Digital and Mixed Signal circuits.
• Experience in programming languages such as C basic Perl python etc.
• Knowledge in testing and collecting data on circuits using standard tools such as Oscilloscopes Multimeters Spectrum Analyzers etc.
• Basic understanding of hardware design and strong debug/troubleshooting experience
