Job Description
Renesas Is seeking a talented Computer Science or Electrical Engineering student to join our team this Summer as an Applications Engineer in our Farmington Hills office. In this role you will...
- Assist with the proofofconcept application development of Renesas SOC products in the next generation of automotive and industrial end equipment.
- Provide handson support solving customer technical issues with the use of Renesas SoC products.
- Collaborate internally with global engineering teams in product requirement analysis technical reviews benchmarking and troubleshooting efforts.
- Extend practical knowledge and experience in automotive/industrial technologies and the semiconductor industry including automated driving advanced driver assist system invehicle infotainment and cluster AI Edge computation and tools.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must be Major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering for a bachelors or higher degree.
- GPA 3.0
- Candidate must reside in the area able to commute or willing to relocate for the summer to Michigan for this opportunity.
- Willing to work 100% onsite internship.
- Strong Programming skills in C C and Python.
- Experience in Linux Embedded software and microprocessors.
- Experience RTOS preferable.
- Knowledge of the Automobile industry preferable
- Excellent interpersonal skills which are necessary for this role.
