Job Description
Hybrid/home based with office visits depending upon location
We are seeking a Software Developer to work on some of our challenging projects with the UK Government. Our development includes regular changes arising from new legislation as well as highprofile changes and new software to allow our customers to quickly implement government schemes. Our software provides essential assistance to citizens and businesses throughout the UK.
This role involves developing Oracle Webbased applications supplied to local authorities and central government clients in the UK and providing technical support for these applications. The solutions are delivered as onpremise applications or as hosted SAAS solutions. Primary required skills are Oracle and PLSQL along with Oracle Apex.
Qualifications :
Essential Experience:
Proven track record of full life cycle development of large applications using an Oracle database and toolset
Solid PL/SQL skills with experience of writing design specifications problem solving and performance tuning
Appreciation of application and data security
Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
Desirable:
Experience of Oracle Apex javascript HTML and CSS
Experience with technologies including XML JSON SOAP REST
Experience of Pro C
Experience of Java
Relevant Computer Science or Technical Degree

Will be highly motivated and demonstrate an excellent mix of analytical and technical skills.
